I so enjoyed trying this lovely new tin out baking for a cake stall this weekend!
Bundt tins are the queens of the bakeware kingdom. No beginner-geometry-lesson shapes here. Instead, the regal curves and peaks of castles and cathedrals are referenced in the detailed patterns of the tin. Somehow the designer seems to have captured a little of old world European architecture and brought it home to fit in my baking cupboard. The viscous batter of sour lemon cake is elevated, becoming a decadent, detailed delight, in turn raising the event of afternoon tea to an appreciation of culture and beauty.
At least, this is how I feel when baking with bundt tins!
